Kojima Productions has finally put a long running rumor to rest and announced that Death Stranding will be coming to PC next year. Listings for the game and various other hints indicated that the title was not exclusive to PlayStation for some time but there was no proof until the official tweet.
Kojima Production tweeted the news themselves. The release is a thanks for all the support and appreciation the studio has received for the title. The game will release on PlayStation 4 on 8 November and will release on PC some months afterwards. Kojima Productions will be teaming up with publisher 505 Games to bring the game to PC. The Italian publisher has done smaller and medium game releases, including Don’t Starve and Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. However, they recently moved in the AAA realm, having worked on the PC version of Control.

505 Games co-founder CEO Raffi Galante stated that they were happy to be working with Kojima Productions. “We are extremely excited and honored to be working with the supremely talented team at Kojima Productions to bring Death Stranding to PC gamers around the world.” Death Stranding is one of the most anticipated titles of the year. The game has made a name for itself as Kojima’s return to the gaming world and for its rather weird trailers.
