Although we have not heard all that much about Sucker Punch’s upcoming samurai game, Ghost of Tsushima, a new report which may shed some light on when we can expect to play this title has surfaced.
This report comes from Kotaku’s Jason Schreier. Schreier notes that Ghost of Tsushima does not have a public release date or window but internally its aim was to release sometime in early 2020. However, due to the delay of The Last of Us Part 2, the game’s release window has been pushed to a much later period in 2020. He also stated that the game will remain a title for the PlayStation 4.
BTW, Ghost of Tsushima doesn't have a public release date yet, but it'll also be bumped later into 2020 to account for this delay. Don't expect them to suddenly turn it into a PS5 game or anything, but it was originally planned for the first half of the year – not anymore

Sucker Punch are hard at work on the game, even working with real samurai to enhance the experience. Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida has also previously stated that he is impressed with the title’s graphics, which has made many excited for the upcoming experience.
It seems that the delay may be to ensure that each of the exclusives has time to breathe. Sony is not afraid to delay its games. It is one of the reasons the publisher has released a strong set of exclusives in recent years. Ghost of Tsushima is set to release late 2020.
