After many rumors, leaks, and ratings, it seems that Rockstar Games has finally let the cat out of the bag. Nearly a year after its release on console, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be making its way to PC on 5 November. This will be the first time that a Red Dead Redemption game will be available on PC.
Players are able to pre-order the game through various retailers, such as the Humble Store, Greenman Gaming, the Epic Games Store and a number of others. Though the game won’t be available on Steam on release, Steam users won’t have to wait long as it will supposedly make its way to the digital storefront in December. The game will also be making its way to the Google Stadia as a launch title.

Rockstar elaborated further on the upcoming release on a blog post on their site, stating, “Today, we’re proud to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC on November 5th, with special bonuses available to players who pre-purchase through the Rockstar Games Launcher starting October 9th”.
The publisher also said that there will be new story content in the form of “new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons, and more”, which is quite a surprise since they claimed that they weren’t working on any single player content for the title.
They also listed a pre-order bonus for players who choose to purchase the game through their own launcher. Such players will get two free games from Rockstar’s library of recent titles and will also be upgraded to the premium edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 for free. They will also qualify for a discount on the special and ultimate editions of the game.
It seems that Rockstar is going all out for the PC port of Red Dead Redemption 2. Surely, many players cannot wait to start modding the title with all sorts of insane additions. Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on PC on 5 November.
