KFC is currently known around the world for their famous fried chicken, but they may soon become known for something else too. It has been announced that the chicken chain is developing a video game, and it’s not just any video game but a Colonel Sander dating simulator (which is exactly what the world needs right now.)
The game is called I Love You Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin‘ Good Dating Simulator. It is very much real, even with a title as ridiculous as that. The announcement came with a very anime reveal trailer showing off the Colonel in all his anime glory. Here is what the press release had to say about the game : “KFC’s soon-to-be-released and free dating simulator game follows your journey as a promising young student through University of Cooking School: Academy for Learning as you navigate relationships, social challenges that the fast-paced life in the kitchen can bring.”
The press release also stated that the game will have three acts and have options that will affect the outcome of the narrative as well as your ability to date the Colonel. Here are some of the other features players can expect to experience while playing the simulator:

- A dateable Colonel Sanders
- A secret ending! (Shh!)
- Secret recipes! (Double Shh!!)
- Cooking battles
- Battle battles
- A degree from a fictional culinary school
- 11 Herbs and Spices
- Cute miniature food
The game is set to release on PC via Steam on 24 September and the best part about it is that it’s completely free. The trailer also highlights some other interesting characters that will show up through your journey. Most notably it seems that there will be Professor Dog, rivals, and even a best friend character. It also seems that you will be cooking a lot of fried chicken in very intense cooking battles.
It’s unbelievable that such as title exists but it is officially licensed and created by KFC. Although we haven’t actually seen any gameplay, everyone can now live out their wildest fantasies of dating the Colonel. I Love You Colonel Sanders!
