Netlfix May Have Leaked The Witcher Release Date

Netflix Netherlands may have leaked the release date for the upcoming Witcher series.

When it comes to Netflix shows, none has become more hyped than the upcoming Witcher series. Since its announcement, we’ve learnt a lot about the show, including the characters we can expect to see, story details and even seen a teaser trailer but the one thing that has eluded fans is exactly when we can expect the show to arrive. Well, it seems that we may have been given a concrete date with the latest rumoured leak, which has come from none other than Netflix themselves.

A recent Netflix Netherlands post states that The Witcher series will release on 17 December. The post, which has since been deleted, shared a countdown for different series and films, which indicated how long it’ll be until they debut. One of the shows on that list was The Witcher, which featured a number of 97 nights on the list.

Netflix has commented on the post, telling Video Games Chronicles that it was just an error. “The launch date for The Witcher has not yet been confirmed. The post was made by Netflix accounts in the Netherlands in error, and not all of the information contained in it is accurate/final.”

Although this seems like a routine response, they don’t actually deny the date, which means that the show may arrive around December time. This may conflict with a few other leaks and rumours that have popped in the past with them pegging the release date to be around October or November.

As we have no confirmation on the release date, it is important to take all of this information with a grain of salt. Guess we’ll just have to keep looking at the available images and plot details until they decide to finally release the series.

When do you think The Witcher series should release?
