Apex Legends Is Getting A Physical Release

The two Apex Legends physical editions will be available on 18 October.

Apex Legends has been EA’s answer to Epic Games’ Fortnite and although the game hasn’t been as big a hit as its counterpart, it has carved a nice place for itself in the battle royale genre. Well, Apex Legends is now getting a physical release, which will hit store shelves on 18 October. There will be two options available to purchase: Apex Legends Lifeline Edition and Apex Legends Bloodhound Edition. Both of these editions will include very exclusive legendary skins, additional cosmetics and Apex Coins.

The two Apex Legends physical releases were announced on Tuesday. There have been rumours surrounding EA releasing physical editions for some time but it has now been confirmed. Both of these versions will be priced at $19.99 and will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Here’s everything these two versions will offer:

The Lifeline Edition

  • Legendary Guardian Angel Lifeline skin
  • Legendary Chooser of the Slain Flatline skin
  • Exclusive Winged Guardian Banner
  • Exclusive Angel Struck Badge
  • 1 000 Apex Coins

The Bloodhound Edition

  • Legendary The Intimidator Bloodhound skin
  • Legendary Wrath Bringer Prowler skin
  • Exclusive Tormentor Badge
  • 1 000 Apex Coins

It’s useful to note that unlike other in-game cosmetics, which sometimes have timers attached to them, these skins will not feature these time limits. The Apex Legends Twitter account responded to questions surrounding time limits by saying that cosmetics “will be available indefinitely.”

It’s safe to say that these versions of the game are for hardcore Apex Legends fans. The addition of the skins and Apex Coins will probably also be the tipping point for some fans. The two physical versions of Apex Legends will be available on 18 October for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
