When comes to Rockstar Games and future upcoming content, there are always rumours abound. With Red Dead Redemption 2 having recently been released, many have been asking what the future holds for the game. Well, according to a recent rumour, there may be some single-player DLC coming sometime soon. In addition to that, Rockstar has also been suggested to be revisiting an old classic as a Red Dead Redemption remaster is rumoured to be in the works as well.

This recent rumour comes from a Reddit user who says he knows someone close to Rockstar. According to the rumour, the DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature aliens, which has been hinted in the actual game. The rumour also states that you will play as Arthur Morgan. This isn’t the first time that Rockstar Games has delved into mystical elements. The first game’s DLC featured John Marston fighting the undead in zombie-filled western lands.

The rumour also stated that Rockstar Games is working on a remake of the original game and that it will be released sometime in 2020 or early 2021. Allegedly, the game will bring over features of the new game, story elements that tie in the new game and the first game, and a bigger map. It also claims that Rob Wiethoff the voice actor of John Marston came back to record new lines of dialogue to tie the events between the two games. The release would also coincide with the game’s 10-year anniversary.

It’s important to take this all with a grain of salt as there could be nothing to this rumour. There is some validity to the idea that Rockstar may be working on DLC as they have released single-player DLC in the past, even if they haven’t in a while. As for the remaster rumour, it seems very unlikely as the publisher is not known looking into past games and Red Dead Redemption was incredibly challenging to develop.

It is an interesting rumour, and some of it makes some sense. Since Red Dead Redemption 2 was universally praised, and many haven’t played the first game, since it’s restricted to older consoles, it makes sense to release a remaster. Though, remember that all of this can just be make believe.

What DLC do think Red Dead Redemption 2 should get?
