It seems that in Cyberpunk 2077 all of your choices, whether big or small, will matter. Thus, it comes as no surprise that the game will feature multiple endings that will vary depending on the choices you make. The revelation comes from an interview featuring the game’s Quest Director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz and YouTuber YongYea.
The addition is not all that new for the developer as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt featured several major endings that were triggered based on the decisions players made throughout the game. Tomaszkiewicz never stated how many endings there will be but since Cyberpunk 2077 is supposed to be bigger than The Witcher 3, we could have more than double the number of endings in the upcoming title. This comes as a relief for fans as they may have been concerned that their choices may not matter. Hopefully, choices are varied and not just swaps of characters who’ve died or lived through your journey.
Tomaszkiewicz was also asked about whether a photo mode will be coming to the game to which he answered that the team is “seriously” considering putting one in the title. It seems that a photo mode was in development at some stage but development has since shifted to something else. It could be the rumored multiplayer addition to the game. A photo mode may not be there at launch but it could be added in the future. A photo mode is always a nice addition to game as it allows players to capture some amazing shots of insane situations.
