Electronic Arts will be bringing its EA Access subscription service to PlayStation 4 this July. EA Access offers early access trials to upcoming games produced by the publisher and grants users access to various older EA titles included within the “Vault”.
EA Access will cost PS4 users US$4.99 per month or US$29.99 for a year. Along with its vault of games, you also get access to a 10 hour trial for many upcoming EA titles. Any progress achieved in the trial is carried over to the full game should the player decide to purchase it. The subscription will also allow you to get a 10% discount on all digital full game purchases, add-ons, and any in-game items for any of the publisher’s games. This includes titles like FIFA, Madden and Apex Legends for any digital currency.
EA launched its subscription service for the Xbox One in 2014 and since then they expanded it to the PC with their Origin Access and the Origin Access Premier services.
EA has not yet confirmed what games will come to the PS4 service and when it will be exactly available. There is already a list of 50+ games from all of their published games such as FIFA, Madden, Dragon Age, Star Wars Battlefront and Mirrors Edge available on the Xbox version of the service. It also includes many of their indie games such as Fe and Unravel. You can view the full library of games that are available for Xbox One and PC here.
