CD Projekt Red Registered For E3 2018

Last month, a report suggesting that CD Projekt Red (famed developers of The Witcher series) would be holding an expo at E3 this year to unveil the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 surfaced.

Although the developer did not comment on the rumour at the time, it has now been confirmed that CD Projekt Red will be at the gaming industry’s biggest expo this year after they were included on the list of this year’s participating companies on the E3 website. However, whether or not they will be displaying footage of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 still remains to be seen.

Very little information about Cyberpunk 2077 is known at the moment as CD Projekt Red have been very secretive about the title since first announcing it, with the developers suggesting that they needed public attention to be focused more on 2015’s widely-acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at release.

Earlier this year, a tweet was posted from CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk Twitter account for the first time in four years, which also led to great speculation that the game may be getting a lot more marketing attention in the near future.

With Cyberpunk 2077 being one of the only known titles CD Projekt Red has in development (the other being Gwent: The Witcher Card Game), it does seem unlikely that the developer will not reveal any new information about the upcoming title at the expo.

Regardless of whether or not CD Projekt Red does actually reveal more information about Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 this year remains to be seen, but it is an exciting prospect in itself that the development studio will be making an appearance at the expo in and of itself.
